What's our Story?

So it started like this...

Door 50 was established in 2017 by Gold Coast local, Nick. Born in Sydney but raised on the coast from age 5 he had a passion for hospitality embedded in him from an early age. He grew up in the industry. From as little as a few days old he would lay in his baby capsule, in the kitchen of "The Ivy" in Balmain Sydney, watching his chef-restaurateur father cooking away. Hospitality was in his blood! Now, 30 years later, he wants to bring you a good coffee, some good food and some friendly banter!
